It is communicated to educators by their parents, observed by their educators and contributed by the children. The programming cycle is documented and is readily available to parents. Mighty Brains Academy is passionate about delivering an educational program which allows for children to grow and learn at their own pace.

We believe the first five years of a child’s life is the most crucial, research shows that children’s brain develops rapidly more than any other time in their life. Therefore, by engaging children in a stimulating learning environment, we enable them to learn through a child centred program.

Experiencing belonging – knowing where and with whom you belong – is integral to human existence. Children belong first to a family, a cultural group, a neighbourhood and a wider community. Belonging acknowledges children’s interdependence with others and the basis of relationships in defining identities.

In early childhood, and throughout life, relationships are crucial to a sense of belonging. Belonging is central to being and becoming in that it shapes who children are and who they can become.

Mighty Brains Academy is passionate about delivering an educational program which allows for children to grow and learn at their own pace.

Our outdoor play areas have large garden beds that our children use to grow their own organic fruit and vegetables. When they are ready, our children harvest, help prepare and cook. Our children participate in cooking classes weekly. This encourages a child to become more curious and excited about trying new foods and to broaden their palate.

We believe it is important to expose our children to different languages as we are a multicultural country. Language helps express our feelings, desires, and queries to the world around us

Our yoga classes are focused on helping children develop confidence, have fun, enjoy relaxation time, improve concentration and an explore to fitness through the joy of yoga.

Mighty Brains Academy holistic school readiness program starts from the moment they walk in through the door. Our program is child centred based on the current knowledge, ideas, culture, abilities, strengths and interests of each child are the foundation of the program. We have also incorporated stem (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics).

All meals and snacks are provided. They are prepared fresh daily by our dedicated onsite chef, our menu is rated EXCEEDING by the Munch and Move program, Health Promotion Officers (South Western Sydney Local Health District).

At mighty Brains Academy we believe it is important to teach children about their role to Respect and appreciate their environment, develop a Sense of caring environment and being active participants. Sustainability is embedded within our service and program.

Children participate in our daily Child Care Munch & Move program – an NSW Health initiative that supports the healthy development of children from birth to 5 years by promoting physical activity and healthy eating.

Incursions and excursions give children the opportunity to explore new environments and meet new people which will in the process further develop on their social and confidence skills.
